Morden Hall in Wimbledon, South London, is quite a special spot. It’s a tastefully restored manor in exclusive grounds with a moat separating it from the rest of the Morden Hall Park. Not only is it one of the best wedding venues in Wimbledon, the catering is run by the brilliant Galloping Gourmet, whose excellent food I’ve come across at Bassmead Manor Barns up in Cambridge.

Liz and Andrew’s winter wedding was the first opportunity I’ve had to shoot at what is my most local of venues – just a few minutes walk from home. The day started under beautiful blue skies and unseasonally warm February weather. Liz and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the dedicated bridal suite whilst Andrew prepared in a separate space on the other side of the venue.

Liz wore a beautiful 1920s styled dress by Tariq Ediz whilst Andrew wore a bespoke tailored suit from King and Allen that he had personalised to his own tastes. I’ll let the pictures do the talking but the whole day was filled with smiles and ended with one heck of a party.

If you’re keen to find out more about the venue and how Liz and Andrew styled it to their own tastes you can head to a fab blog by the team at Country House Wedding Venues.
